No. 49 - Ed Bagdon
Offensive guard, 1946-49, Dearborn
The skinny: There have been 13 All-American offensive lineman in MSU football history since the Outland Trophy began being awarded annually in 1946 to the best interior offensive lineman in the sport. Ed Bagdon is only Spartan to win it. Bagdon captured the award in 1949, the year he captained the Spartans, pre-Big Ten, to a 6-3 record. - Read more at LSJ.com
