Desmond Ferguson almost pulled the plug on the Moneyball Pro-Am summer basketball league a couple of years ago.
“I said, ‘I’m going to give it one more shot,’ and that’s when it got even better,” Ferguson.
And then, last year, even better.
And so year No. 12 begins tonight, the second summer at Aim High in Diamondale on Tuesday and Thursday nights — six teams, made up of players from Michigan State, Oakland University, other colleges, community colleges, pros playing overseas and former pros. – Read more at LSJ.com
