Dantonio: LB Andrew Dowell will play as freshman

EAST LANSING – Michigan State fourth-year junior defensive back Demetrious Cox gave true freshman linebacker Andrew Dowell a high compliment in football-speak Monday.

“He’s gonna be a guy,” Cox said of the 6-foot, 216-pound Dowell.
