EAST LANSING — Connor Cook gave the critics what they wanted in the second quarter at Indiana when, facing a third-and-17 at the Michigan State 14, he stared down a receiver and threw an interception.
Indiana scored two plays later and took a 17-14 lead over the No. 8-ranked Spartans with 5:25 left in the half.
