MSU (North) should be No. 8 in playoff rankings

Well, College Football Playoff committee, you lost Archie Manning and another of your members is being questioned in misogynistic, moronic ways, and it’s probably a bad idea to give us your team rankings on a weekly basis starting tonight. But hey, you may as well endure as much adversity as you can between now and Dec. 7, when you announce the first four-team playoff and will need to go immediately into hiding to avoid the violent wrath of at least three SEC fan bases, along with perhaps Tallahassee, Fla., law enforcement officials.
