EAST LANSING — Michigan State Class of 2014 signee Deon Drake is set to enroll in January after gaining his eligibility through the NCAA clearinghouse, according to his father, Deon Drake Sr.

Drake, a 6-foot-2, 225-pound linebacker from Detroit Cass Tech, was on the Michigan State campus in August before returning home when his eligibility got held up.

“We had to pull him out and get some things taken care of,” Drake Sr. said. “He’s been working out every day, he has a personal trainer.” - Read more at MLive.com
