Ohio State QB Braxton Miller tweets he’s ‘never heard’ of Michigan State’s Taiwan Jones
EAST LANSING — Taiwan Jones’ assessment of Ohio State redshirt freshman J.T. Barrett being “a way better quarterback” than injured two-time Big Ten offensive player of the year Braxton Miller apparently didn’t sit well with Miller.
Miller injured his shoulder in preseason camp in August and is sitting out this season. He took to his Twitter account on Wednesday to let the 160,901 who follow his account — @BraxtonMiller5 — know what he thinks about Jones. Which is to say, not much.
“Never heard of the kid #34 … 4 yrs unnoticed,” said Miller’s tweet, which includes emoticons of a frog and a cup of coffee and a blank screen.
Jones is in his third season starting at linebacker for the Spartans, and he had five tackles in Michigan State’s 34-24 win over Ohio State in the 2013 Big Ten championship game. - Read more at MLive.com
