Grading the Spartans: Ohio State’s speed, scheme overwhelmed Michigan State
EAST LANSING -Michigan State got taken to school by Urban Meyer and his Ohio State football team.
The Buckeyes, ranked No. 8 in the new Associated Press poll, scored a 49-37 victory over the No. 12 Spartans on Saturday night in Spartan Stadium.
Ohio State (8-1, 5-0 Big Ten) takes control of the Big Ten East with the victory over Michigan State (7-2, 4-1).
Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio said his defense simply couldn’t stop Ohio State, and that was the bottom line.
The Spartans’ offense also failed to convert a red zone turnover into points at a juncture of the game where MSU could have taken control. - Read more at MLive.com
