Deyonta Davis signs with Michigan State basketball

One day after the start of the college basketball early signing period, Michigan State officially added the big catch of its 2015 class: 6-foot-9 big man Deyonta Davis of Muskegon, a consensus top-30 player nationally.

Davis signed today with MSU, according to Muskegon High’s Twitter account, becoming the third member of a consensus top-15 class. He joins 6-5 shooting guard Matt McQuaid (Duncanville, Texas) and 6-4 guard/forward Kyle Ahrens (Versailles, Ohio).

MSU is expected to release coach Tom Izzo’s comments about Davis later this afternoon. - Read more at Freep.com
