Pat Narduzzi: ‘Proof is in the pudding’ with Michigan State press quarters scheme
EAST LANSING — There were plenty of questions about the Michigan State defense after it was ransacked by Ohio State on Saturday night, with the Buckeyes rolling up 568 yards en route to a 49-37 victory.
Spartans defensive coordinator Pat Narduzzi answered some of those questions as he turned his focus forward to Saturday night’s game against Maryland team (6-3, 3-2 Big Ten).
“There’s a lot of misdirection window-dressed with a lot of motions, a lot of counters, just a combination of everything we’ve seen this year in one offense,” Narduzzi said, breaking down the Terrapins. “Everywhere from empty (formations), to pulling people all over the place, stuff moving everywhere, it’s another spread offense.” - Read more at MLive.com
