MSU basketball to play in Pearl Harbor in 2016

Honoring the armed forces is personal for the Michigan State basketball program, and it has become tradition. The tradition will continue with an event to remember the attack on Pearl Harbor.

MSU will be part of a doubleheader Nov. 11, 2016 — Veterans Day — in a hangar on Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam in Honolulu, MSU athletic director Mark Hollis confirmed. MSU will take on Arizona, and Indiana will play Kansas in the fifth annual Armed Forces Classic, close to the 75th anniversary of Japan’s Dec. 7, 1941 attack on the base.
