Spartans in NFL: Le’Veon Bell lifts Steelers to Monday night win with 204 yards rushing
Former Michigan State tailback and 2012 Big Ten rushing champ Le’Veon Bell took a place in the Pittsburgh Steelers’ record book by rushing for more yards in a Monday Night Football game than any of the great backs who wore the black and gold before him.
Bell carried 33 times for 204 yards and a touchdown as Pittsburgh came from behind to beat the Tennessee Titans in Nashville, 27-24.
“It’s a great accomplishment for me,” Bell said during his ESPN interview after the game. “But obviously I can’t do it by myself, the offensive line did a great job.
“I was able to get to the second level and make some guys miss, and keep my feet moving and get first downs, (and) that’s all I was thinking about.” - Read more at MLive.com
