Lansing Catholic football coach Jim Ahern could detect the story line from the tone of the question. He immediately, bashfully and unsuccessfully tried to deflect it.
“This is not just me,” Ahern said Wednesday night, spinning the attention toward his assistant coaches and players, and those who coached under him at Ithaca. “I’m really lucky.”
