Lourawls Nairn a speedy option for MSU

Nairn was needed late in the first half with Denzel Valentine on the bench with two fouls, and he ended up giving No. 19 MSU (1-1) 15 solid first-half minutes – highlighted by a drive, spin move and drop to Branden Dawson for a three-point play. His quickness on both ends of the floor gives MSU a different look to complement senior starter Travis Trice.
“Tum played good and I expected him to play good because that’s the type of player he is,” Valentine said of Nairn, who played just six minutes in the second half and ended up with two points, two assists and two turnovers. “He’s a big-time player.” - Read more at Freep.com
