Grading the Spartans’ performance at Penn State

LSJ columnist Graham Couch grades MSU’s 34-10 win on a scale of 1-10

OFFENSE: 7

MSU didn’t shy from running at the Big Ten’s best run defense, rushing 40 times for 125 yards (not counting the one sack of Connor Cook). The Spartans finished with their lowest yardage output of the season (298), but they were opportunistic and converted in important situations — 9 of 16 on third downs, including all three of their offensive touchdowns.
