EAST LANSING — Baylor coach Art Briles said this week that his Bears will be facing “one of the greatest teams in America” when they take the field for the Cotton Bowl Classic on Jan. 1.

“There have been four football programs that have played in back-to-back BCS games,” Briles said at his Cotton Bowl press conference on Wednesday. “You’re talking to one of them (Baylor) and Michigan State is one of them, Florida State and Alabama.
