Couch: Big Ten bowl results highlight inept evaluations

Next September, when the weekly overreacting begins, we should remember these last couple days of college football, the first healthy moments in the four-month-old playoff era.

And by we, I mean all of us who spend any time pondering a sport whose annual hierarchy has for so long been mostly made up.
