Michigan State special teams stepped up in Cotton Bowl win over Baylor

ARLINGTON, Texas — Michigan State’s special teams plays didn’t go exactly as planned in the Cotton Bowl, but they were pretty effective.

Marcus Rush’s blocked field goal on a play called “monster” led to a 35-yard return by RJ Williamson with 1:05 left, leading to the winning touchdown in the Spartans’ 42-41 victory over Baylor on New Year’s Day. – Read more at MLive.com
