Michigan State didn’t look great during a 66-60 home triumph over Penn State Wednesday. Anyone with a pair of eyeballs could see that. But the Spartans are now 4-2 in Big Ten play with nine-straight winnable games in front of them.

That’s not to say MSU will cruise to nine straight victories. A poor home showing during an overtime win over Northwestern last week and a blowout loss at Maryland prove there aren’t any gimmes left on the schedule.
