The Michigan State basketball team is rushing to get out of East Lansing in time to beat a massive snowstorm that is expected to hit the Northeast tonight.

Coach Tom Izzo said on today’s Big Ten teleconference that MSU has moved up its chartered flight from East Lansing to Newark, N.J., to about 3:30 p.m. so that the Spartans can get there and get ready for Tuesday’s 9 p.m. game at Rutgers. - Read more at Freep.com
