EAST LANSING — Mark and Cindy Pentecost are the latest donors to give big to Michigan State athletics: $3 million, to be exact, and all for the men’s basketball program.

MSU announced the donation today, a couple of months after Peter and Joan Secchia gave $3 million for men’s basketball improvements and the endowment of MSU’s defensive coordinator position. MSU also received several hefty donations for its North End Zone project at Spartan Stadium and said that this is the third donation of $3 million or more since October. - Read more at Freep.com
