MSU Signing Day: Peat, Hunt join 20-man class
EAST LANSING — The exhale from Michigan State coaches and fans came early this morning when the big catch of the 2015 class — Hubbard, Ohio running back LJ Scott — sent in his signed National Letter of Intent.
Scott, who told the Free Press last week that Ohio State had not stopped its pursuit of him, was one of the first letters to arrive. By early afternoon, all 18 players who verbally committed to the MSU class had sent in their letters — and they were joined by two late catches, linebacker/defensive end Cassius Peat of Tempe, Ariz., and defensive end Mufi Hunt of Murray, Utah.
