MSU’s Schilling shakes recent struggles in win at U-M

Michigan State sophomore center Gavin Schilling had his best game in nearly a month Tuesday, collecting 10 points and a pair of rebounds – before fouling out in just 15 minutes of action – in the Spartans’ 80-67 win at Michigan.

One of MSU’s early surprises this season, Schilling had been struggling since an 11-point, 10-rebound effort in a Jan. 21 win over Penn State. He had just 12 points and 19 rebounds in his previous six games. Before traveling to Ann Arbor, MSU’s coaches sat Schilling down for a little intervention. - Read more at Freep.com
