The good: How many teams can say they have a third-year starter at quarterback who is a Heisman candidate, possible high NFL draft pick and owns a Rose Bowl MVP trophy? Connor Cook can make it difficult to argue anyone else when the subject is best QB in MSU history.
The bad: You have to look hard to find negatives. Is it a problem Cook wasn’t voted a captain? It might be on a team that isn’t this stacked with leaders. He can improve as a player, though. And backups Tyler O’Connor and Damion Terry could use some work. - Read more at Freep.com
