EAST LANSING – Michigan State remains in pursuit of a McDonald’s All-America big man to go with the one the Spartans already have signed up for next season, and Sunday was supposed to be a perfect opportunity to showcase the Breslin Center atmosphere to Caleb Swanigan.

Unfortunately for MSU, the snowstorm that hit early Sunday morning and continued into the afternoon was too much for Swanigan to overcome. The 6-foot-8, 255-pound center from Fort Wayne, Ind., tweeted before MSU’s home game against Michigan: “The storm in Fort Wayne has kept me from being able to go to the michigan state game.” - Read more at Freep.com
