CHICAGO — There was no real bravado from Michigan State Thursday. Nothing that’ll make for a regrettable headline at least. Not from the three seasoned players representing the Spartans at Big Ten Media Days, or their wise and weathered coach.
Too much has been learned. Too much felt.
Winning in college football is hard. Damn hard. And proclaiming greatness prematurely only makes it harder.
