East Lansing — Michigan State is set to kick off the season in three days, and the No. 5 Spartans aren’t shying away from their own goals of reaching the Big Ten Championship game and potentially playing for a national championship.
“As far as expectations, the most important expectations are the expectations we have inside our locker room,” Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio said at his weekly news conference Tuesday at Spartan Stadium. “There’s a lot of talk because of our record the last couple of years.
